Three new build properties had developed cracks internally throughout. It was found after inspection of ceiling voids that many steel supports had never been fitted. We worked closely with the loss adjuster Andy Manktelow and the original architect to devise a solution to a major incident. The properties had to be demolished internally leaving only the outer shell to allow the required 8 metre long steels to be implemented correctly. Full reinstatement of the internal of the properties followed and the project took 3 months to complete all 3 properties. Close interaction was given to all three home owners throughout the project and despite the obvious shock and frustration the clients were exceptionally pleased with our sensitivity and working practices.
