Following a water leak from a bath in the 2nd floor flat we went to review the damage in the ground and first floor flats. The damage was assessed and insurers advised of the issue. RSA appointed Cunningham Lindsey loss adjusters to work with us to resolve the issue and agree a reinstatement plan. We instigated a drying programme for the two affected flats and once dry, completed the repairs to the two flats comprising new solid wood flooring, plastering and redecoration throughout. Restoration was also required to original period items such as ceiling roses and door shutters which had major cracks and splits. Due to the severe nature of the damage and the fact on both floors the entire flats were affected it was required for us to have the tenants moved out whilst the work was ongoing. Due to the additional costs this created for the insurer it was imperative that the work was completed quickly and correctly, this was achieved to the satisfaction of all parties.
