Cracks had appeared in the bottom flat of the converted house. Following inspection of the problem it was reported to insurers who appointed Crawfords loss adjusters to work with us to resolve the issue. Surveys of the movement were carried out over a 9 month period of time and it was concluded that a large tree in the garden was causing the property to heave in wet periods which in turn caused the cracks. Once the tree had been removed the property was left for several months to allow the ground and property to settle and remedial repairs were carried out to the affected areas.
